Röchling Industrial at K 2019 - Extraordinary stand concept invites to a joint departure into the future

At the plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf, the leading international plastics processor Röchling Industrial will once again be inviting visitors for a talk with an unusual stand concept. At its stand in Hall 8a J12, Röchling will be presenting selected exhibits and new corporate strategies as well as digital concepts for future collaboration.

The focal point of the almost 300-square-metre stand is the fundamental change in strategy that the supplier of thermoplastic and composite products has undergone since the last K in 2016. This involves the introduction of an industry management, which enables the company to place its customers from various industrial sectors even closer to the heart of its activities. Franz Lübbers, CEO Röchling Industrial, explains: "The introduction of industry management marks a decision to no longer think in terms of materials, but rather in terms of our customers’ industries. We pool our knowledge and make it available to all customers. To date, our business units have marketed their products independently of one-another, based on materials. Industry management means that we bring together industry-related experience and expertise. This enables us to offer every customer the best possible solution for their particular task in their industry."

"Of course we will also be presenting products at the trade fair stand", says Lübbers, with a wink. "The days when we only showed our wide range of thermoplastics and composites are long-gone. Today, our customers expect specific solutions for their complex tasks." Accordingly, the exhibits at the stand will only be examples which, in keeping with industry management, stem from different target industries and are aimed at stimulating discussion.

Invitation to head into the future
Röchling will welcome visitors to its almost 300 square metre booth, which will once again stand out from the crowd with its spectacular, authentic design. With the unusual concept, the plastics processor wants to inspire the visitors to a joint departure into the future. "Visitors can also look forward to an extraordinary exhibition stand in 2019", says Lübbers. "But we won't tell you in advance how our stand is going look – that has already become a tradition. We want to make our visitors curious about our stand, about what Röchling will be showing and what is has to offer".

At this year's stand, Röchling wants to speak with visitors about the strategic realignment of the company via industry management, the establishment of the new, globally networked research and development department (Corporate R&D) and the use of digitalisation for cooperation with customers and networking employees and locations worldwide.

Franz Lübbers: "In addition to all the new technologies, we still see personal discussions with our customers as the most important starting point for the development of new ideas and products. We invite all visitors to join us as we head off into the future."
